The small Farm down the street from me, runs a "farm camp". Kids get to come and learn about growing veggies, collect eggs, help raise chicks, milk goats. My kid LOVES it, its the only camp he wanted to do this year. This year he gets to be a jr. helper teaching the other kids. I actually pay someone to let my kid help on the farm.

As a former sanitation worker for Tyson, I did that for 6 months, got bronchitis twice and was soaked every night. I went back to private security. It was safer.

Yep. Exactly. Grew up on my grandparents farm. Most farms are something you do off-hours after your normal 40hr job. "Playing with animals" was what us kids did. Otherwise, it was farm chores before dawn and after work for my grandpa.
