I tried volufiline a few years ago, went through two bottles and nothing changed. I wanted it to so bad. In my opinion if something worked big pharma would have their hands on it.

Iris, broadly speaking, what does the science say about why certain people are “super responders” to particular actives vs others who are non-responders? Not just volufiline. I mean we see this with potent anti hyperpigmentation actives like Azelaic Acid, Thiamidol, Hydroquinone etc

I use it on my lips as an experiment too. no size changes but i feel like my lip fat(?) is firmer? HOWEVER, i honestly don't care if it works or not cause my lips are no longer dry since i finally made it a habit to moisturise them lol

i think the lips are a fundamentally bad area to try this as lips have a low % fat cells vs areas such as the cheeks

Apparently in studies people saw a 2% increase in volume in their breast which isn’t really that much in the scheme of things I feel like we won’t really notice anything lol
