@tzatchickie: If you’re looking for a non-touristy Greek island, this is it. What stood out the most? The people. Honestly some of the friendliest locals I’ve met in Greece. Andros feels different from the typical Cycladic islands. It’s just 2 hours from Athens, but way less crowded. ✨ The Batsi side has beautiful beaches without the chaos ✨ The Chora side is surprisingly green, something you rarely see in the Cyclades ✨ And there are hundreds of kilometers of hiking trails It’s the perfect island if you want a mix of beach, nature and slow travel. It’s not about hopping from village to village like on other islands. It’s about relaxing, hiking, swimming and eating really well. Give it 5 days to a week, and you’ll get it.
