@renukakhatiwada: When the ground gets very hot, it heats the air above it. This creates layers of air at different temperatures. Light bends as it paases through these layers causing the sky to reflect on the ground, making it look like there's water on the road. So it is not actually flooded but your eyes are just seeing a heat illusion whixh we call mirage. #mirage #whitesands #desert #wow

Hot asphalt heats the air directly above it, creating a layer of hot, less-dense air beneath cooler, denser air.
