As a Christian i learned that the Bible is not meant to be just read. It’s meant to be researched, especially when it’s been TRANSLATED & TRANSLITERATED. Meaning what we interpret in English may not be what was implied in Greek, Aramaic, & Hebrew. You HAVE TO not only reference the original language of the text, but also reference historical & cultural context.

Reading the Bible for myself really taught me that people interpret it differently. The way I interpreted a lot of what I read is not the way it was taught to me growing up.

hear where you’re coming from these questions about angels, free will, and suffering are really hard. I was taught angels did have free will at first, which is why rebellion was possible, but I respect that people learn different things in church
