Depends on the water source. If the council has to pay a private firm for the water, I'd much rather they don't turn it on and instead use our council tax for something more sensible, like reducing how much our council tax will increase by.

The feasibility study has already been done Carl, and we have the initial costs plus the expected ongoing maintenance budget. It's been part of the Williamson Square Steering Group agenda and the activation study that was commissioned some time ago. There is quite a lot going on with this and the Beacon.
