after getting banned from claude for "suspicious activity" lol im now using codex to port my self software agents po, qa, dev, security, etc... to OpenAI. Currently, self preferential and improving itself in a feature branch. Going to point back to external development soon.

Yes- absolutely yes. The ABSOLUTE most important thing for any situation is context awareness based on chronological order of the agents lifetime. For actual category specific tasks adding a 1000 word description of mySQL is only getting in the way of that mySQL agent. The weights are already there in training. Having (for example) -mySQL-AGENT- current task: table column organization and pointer sanity - (prompt and information) is infinitely better. You just need the punctuation that screams **-THIS IS THE PART TO READ-** and the weights already in the model will handle the category.

I’ve absolutely seen people trying to make agents deterministic which definitely reduces what they’re capable of.

There’s a reason though. For a lot of tasks that require accuracy, you need to constrain or you get 25% garbage.

I give my agents freedom of action within constraints. I don’t precisely tell them how to solve the problem.
