So, I have an F20, with that exact noise even after changing the steering thrust bearing.. do you reckon it could be now down to wear in the rack itself?..

Did my f30d rack 20 quid fix with the removal tool now perfectly. Hours labour on the drive .

Thanks for that tip mate👌Al be sure to get one of these tools. Had this issue on my last N47 ED. Knew it was the rack. I thought I needed to buy a new rack, but I would’ve had to code it in😅I’m not a mechanic that’s fortunate to have Ista and/or Esys yet

I have a Lexus is350 f sport 2016, and sometimes if I go over a speed bump or any uneven lumps on the road, I would a knock sound coming from the front left part of my tire, could be the same issue here too
