This may be to simplistic, but when I have an issue with Amazon I just call the customer service line. Now I may or may not be able to understand exactly what they’re saying but in one way or another I usually get my problem resolved.

Ugh that is so crazy! I have a similar experience. I ordered two window blinds to go on two different windows. They came together in a box. I went to send them back the two in the one box and they claimed I never sent one of them back that they only received one. So from then on I print separate shipping ticket for each item no matter what how many there are. I had no way to prove that both of those were in the box that I sent back.

you need to go into your orders, click on the item, and keep clicking until you find a button that says 'i need more help' and that should hopefully take you to a customer service chat.

It has come to this. I take a photo of everything I receive, just in case. You did something even better, you videoed the opening! When returning to Zon there is a text box under the checked box area. Use that next time!! Hope you can share your video with Zon! 😅

One time Amazon‘s AI return bot told me that I had not returned something. I told them that I returned it on 5 February and it had to be returned by 6 February. Their AI bot told me twice that 5 February was after 6 February 🤯
