@officiallylisaconnell: What started as a simple day out turned into something far more meaningful. We spent the day at @Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve Safari with Cindy, the winner of our campaign, alongside her daughter @amy.grace.beautician her son Lucas, and my daughter Ruby. What I didn’t realise at the time… was just how much deeper this moment would go. Cindy is also living with a brain tumour. She previously had a meningioma removed, and is now living with two more. And yet, there she was, smiling, present, and making memories with her family. It really stopped me in my tracks. Because this is what it’s all about. Real people. Real stories. Real moments that matter. Our campaign was in support of @The Brain Tumour Charity, and while every bit of funding helps, raising awareness is just as important. Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40 in the UK. Yet they still receive a fraction of the funding compared to other cancers. Days like this remind me why awareness matters so much. They also remind me how powerful it is when people come together. Cindy. Amy. Lucas. Ruby. Different stories, different journeys… but all connected through one cause. Thank you to every single person who supported this campaign. Whether you donated, shared, or simply followed the journey — you helped make this day possible. And this is just one example of what can happen when people decide to do something, no matter how small it may seem.
