I support a vulnerable adult who does not have a credit card or a driving licence but does have a UK passport. We have tried multiple times to verify them using their UK passport. IT DOES NOT WORK (as clearly stated on the apple support page). Not sure what we can do now?

Issue is what about for under 18s who use Apple. I’m 17 and it keeps trying to get me to verify but just says “couldn’t verify age as you’re under 18” basically just making iPhones unusable for teenagers

When I spoke to Apple the other day, they told me that I needed to get a credit card if though I didn’t want one. I need to get a driving license even though I’m not allowed to drive due to health issues and that I need to get a national ID even though here in the UK it is known as citizen card so for me get cards it’s gonna put me over £70 and everyone’s saying that they don’t work, but when I spoke to Apple, apparently they will work and they will troubleshoot it until they do work. I’m 36
