My 12y kitty had a dental recently and it caused a bad flare up of feline herpes. I’ve been bothering my vets office so much because I worry about her! So much so that I got them all cupcakes and donuts to say thanks for dealing with me 😂

My vet thinks one of my cats has it - however the other cats have shown zero signs of contracting the virus themselves. I’ve been given expensive eye drops to give her when she has flare ups but I honestly don’t think they help at all - just cause more stress .. she has more flare ups the more I use the drops

My rescue cat has reoccurring gingivitis, we’ve had half of teeth removed already and it’s because of the virus :( rest of the symptoms are also common during flareups from stress

Is it possibly my cat may have this, but share water with 2 others and they have no symptoms? She has just the gunky eyes. We’ve been to the vet and the meds didn’t work well
