for those wondering abt pt2 the guy comes back 2 weeks later and pays the full amount wanting to apologize, realizing seal coating is better and longer lasting than just spraying color down. Turns out the neighbor he was pointing across the street was selling the house and needed the drive way to look good, chose the cheaper and quicker route by hiring a guy to spray it with color rather than seal coat it.

Brush doesn’t do any better than spraying if you do it correctly. Been doing it 25+ years don’t every way possible

two guys spreading the sealer is overkill one can do all edges with a brush too keep it off concrete and grass then the other guy can do the rest of the driveway without walking in it and tracking it everywhere
