As a non believer I appreciate your approach. We as humans can be forgiving and allow others to move on from mistakes and give them grace to do so. Being kind to others who may have never been taught to be gentle with others belongings is a talent. Keep doing you, and love your content!

…I respect y’all’s decision, HOWEVER - there are more things that could be done here to still spread Christ’s love and message while allowing them to recognize that what they did to the home was 💯 unacceptable and unnecessary. If nothing else, they could have at least offered to assist y’all with the repairs.

Forgiveness is amazing but does not relieve anyone of consequences. You can, and should, forgive someone who asks for it, but that if they’ve committed a crime against you, they are not free from the penalty of law.

What a wonderful story to share on Palm Sunday many people wouldn’t react that way and that’s honestly fine. It would make sense. I wouldn’t blame them if they reacted with their feelings, but I think it’s wonderful that you guys were able to step up and give them grace and forgiveness.
