Ghana has long been committed to ensuring that the experiences of our ancestors are never forgotten. As a Ghanaian who received much of my early education there, I was taught extensively about the transatlantic slave trade. Visiting Elmina Castle and learning about its history was an integral part of most school’s curriculum, mine included. So, I’m not surprised that Ghana brought this resolution and immensely proud of Ghana 🇬🇭
