I get water from the floor on multiple walls. Is a French drain ever needed on multiple walls?

Was it ever considered to install the French drain on the outside of the basement wall by digging away from the wall/foundation instead of having the water coming inside?

Most basement water issues happen on the outside. You need to pitch the water away from the house with dirt.

the relief holes you drilled are there to allow proper drainage i get. my question is, the concrete you put down. doesn't that block up those holes?

Lot of experts in the comments telling you that you’re doing it wrong. As someone who does this for a living, everything you did looked good to me, only thing I disagree is the fabric, because that will get clogged eventually. But good work! People don’t understand that excavating the outside is more expensive than this.

I love that the voice over of this video is giving some cross of “I Think You Should Leave,” and “Rick & Morty” Inter-dimensional Cable

This is a top notch job dude, I’ve done quite a few of these and your adding steps we didn’t . Don’t let no one tell you this isn’t how it’s done. It’ll work. Ideally should be the whole basement though.

I had this same technique done to my house 14 years ago and it works perfectly.

I get water in my basement. It looks like it’s coming from the walls though. Would this help or what is wrong? We bout the house 3 years ago and it was like that since day 1. 😩 obviously didn’t know until after we closed.
