@aeriscarter: This is just a joke about how the strong friendship between Claire and Jill we see in Resident Evil: Death Island probably started. The only thing they really have in common is Chris. Jill is probably the one that taught Claire to pick locks, 🔓🗝️, as Chris certainly doesn’t know how, and I like to think of Jill treating Claire like a little sister and helping her with hand-me-downs. Don’t take the hate on Christopher too hard; I know that the majority of Resident Evil’s characters (Barry Burton is just exceptional in this regard) are worried that having a family would endanger said family and therefore they usually make the decision to reduce communication with relatives or decide against marriage and traditional child rearing. 💔 It just means that Claire is often left in the dark about her brother’s whereabouts, and he can find himself in some rough spots alone, such as the amnesiac bender we saw him on in Resident Evil 6. 🍻 And Capcom has repeatedly portrayed the relationship between Chris and Jill as more than friends but not quite lovers, because neither of them is able to safely build a family in their line of work, despite being by each other’s side from the beginning. I mean, Jill literally tried to sacrifice her life for him when she threw Albert out that window!
