@neil_denton: Wanted to share my thoughts on my experience in Washington DC; my hope is you understand where I am coming from, I love our nations farmers and ranchers, I love America, our citizens and our communities, I also have a deep rooted respect for our institutions and the leaders that occupy the offices, regardless of party! God bless each one of you and God bless America!

God Bless and Congrats on the invite!!! Would have been awesome to witness in person. One of his personal pilots is a huge land owner i lease some land from. I told him this week to drop some ....extra nice farm words/*needs* to the family to pass along to him. LOL. Have a great week and maybe we all can get some moisture

Well said and thanks for taking time out to go to DC

Agree. He is one man. No one is perfect - but he is trying to do things no one else has done. If you never make a mistake you’re not doing anything. Giving farmers a spotlight day shows respect for our industry. Happy to hear you had a good experience.

1975 to current, I've been in AG, still waiting on the gov to quit screwing AG. With that said, great opportunity to have for you. I'm just a little guy in Appalachia Ohio(row crop) and Appalachia Northern Alabama (cattle). I'm from many many many generations of 1st Generation Farmer's, circumstances have ended each Generation.

Had a great time Friday, we should have gotten a picture together. Tuesday at the USDA with Rollins was awesome, Friday at the south lawn was the coolest thing I’ve ever done, regardless of who’s in the position, I respect the office and it could have been Biden or Obama up there and I would have been just as excited to be there and feel honored to be at the White House

allenbaker2230 :

Did you happen to see any black farmers at the event?
