Looks good... but. did you check and see if the siding is rated too be painted darker? most siding has to be the same color or lighter. it may warp when it gets hot

I made my wood shutters out of $2.50 fence pickets .. stain them. stick two together and use the short pieces to connect them.

I unfortunately learned this the hard way. Painted our siding a deep dark blue that was a country blue. Warped it so bad in the summer heat it literally fell off the house. Had to residing the whole house.
