I recently found out that not everyone has an internal monologue that’s actual words. And! Apparently “in your minds eye” isn’t just a turn of phrase. Some people can see pictures in their mind. This is very obvious now that I know, but I had never considered that the inside of other people’s heads are completely different.

When we leave we all tell the dog where we are going and when we will be back and assure him that it’s not fun to go to work. Then we give him a job- like guard the house, keep the couch warm etc. I swear it helps!

I have a lot of the same questions that keep me up at night (especially if we see the same colors) and only 1 semi-answer. You should rotate (so old mattresses you flip but check with your manufacturer) your mattress 180° every 6 months to a year so it wears evenly. So yes there should be an equal sized divot on both sides of the mattress.
