@kavonariyon: I had a traumatic experience getting my textured hair done at the J C Penney salon so you won’t have to. I had such high hopes, saw videos and thought the staff would be comfortable with textured hairstyles cause that’s what they offered. The stylist told me she could not do flat twists I requested so I asked if she can wash and condition and stretch it in braids. I can style at home. I can’t believe a professional thought it was appropriate for me to leave out the salon looking like this. Once I saw myself in the bathroom mirror, my hands began to shake and I ran to my car with tears in my eyes. I cried in my car for 10 minutes before pulling off and decide what should I do with my hair next. This was supposed to be my hairstyle for Easter, and @JCPenney has ruined the occasion and my week. IF YOU CANT DO TEXTURED HAIR DO NOT OFFER THE SERVICE #jcpenney #jcpenneysalon
