yeah i’m not buying a bunch of dollar tree junk i’d rather buy a few good quality things. Also you can put things that your kids need anyways like spring clothes or swimsuits

I’m not buying my kids junk to just fill the basket. I spend $50 on each kid. They get things they can use and things they need.

I’m not setting foot in the dollar tree for my kid’s Easter basket. I’m gonna buy quality stuff that I would have to buy this summer anyway (like crocs, a good water bottle) and add in some fun pool toys and candy.

You should not be telling other people what to spend their money on. $100 to me may be $20 to you. And I prefer to buy quality items for my kids, not fill my home with crap

If you spend a few more dollars you can get them a nicer water bottle that will last longer! Also instead of a bunch of small stuff you could add a swim suit or an outfit. Which will be pricier, but it will be more useful in the long run.

What’s wrong with me is we’ve moved twice across country in the last two years & I’ve downsize each time. It’s cheaper to buy a new $5 basket than additional $100’s in movers. I don’t buy crap that’ll get thrown away in a week! We buy clothes & summer items!

I spent about $100 on my daughter’s Easter basket and everything in it is stuff she will use. She has a vanity that’s filled with nail polish and makeup she don’t need anymore of that! The water bottles from the dollar tree are garbage. They leak, break extremely easily and don’t keep watch cold on them 100 plus degree days……She’s had her $10 insulated water bottle for almost 3 year now though. I was always taught “you get what you pay for” and because of that I’ll spend a few extra dollars on things if that means she’ll have it longer than a week or 2 before it’s broken and needs to be thrown away 🤷🏻♀️

If i want to go over the top on my child’s Easter Basket I have every single right too. Just because you want to make a small basket with dollar store items (which is PERFECTLY okay for people to do) doesn’t mean you get to dictate what others do
