@sydneykrieg_: Sourdough Brown Butter Toffee Cookies 🍪🤎🥛 Makes roughly 24 cookies 380g all purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp fine sea salt 2 sticks of unsalted butter, browned 220g granulated sugar 220g brown sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 eggs 240g sourdough discard (100% hydration) 12 oz semi sweet chocolate, roughly chopped 1 cup homemade toffee (I use @Broma Bakery recipe it’s foolproof!) 1. Mix butter and sugars until combined. Add eggs and beat for 2-3 minutes. 2. Add discard and vanilla and mix until cake batter texture. 3. Sift dry ingredients and slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until combined. Fold in toffee and chocolate. 4. Cover dough and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (up to 24 hours). 5. Then shape into balls, top with a piece of toffee and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes until edges are slightly brown. 6.
