I pd 1500 thru attorney. got to keep the house, the car which was pd off and the student loans. they wiped out a personal loan, credit cards and hospital bills. I haven't reopened any cards or taken any new loans and I still struggle working full time job isn't enough 😕

I paid my lawyer $2300 to file. I used my tax return to pay most of it. When you stop paying your debts you can save that money for your lawyer too. It's worth paying that versus tens of thousands in interest over however many years it would take to pay off the cards.
