thank you for the wisdom. I am unfortunately learning the hard way. I started off with deity work I'm not going to lie a priestess told me a deity wanted me to receive them so I did the ritual etc. then I realize that the more I work with the deity the more I become physically sick .I believe the energy was too strong for me which was drawing too much of my energy. so now I restarted with my ancestors after almost a year and honestly my energy feels more balanced. but even though I removed the deity alter I still see them from time to time which lead me to say, don't rush into spirituality with deity even if you are called start off with ancestors first and not just any ancestor the elevated ones, some ancestors don't even like u or your mother or even the last generation. also what she said is true some deity do have ties in your bloodline so they will come to when you run into spiritual problems once your align or on the spiritual part or if your have a certain calling .

What is the source of deities? Were they human beings first, then passed on, became ancestors, then moved notches up to become deities? Does biblical jehova an ancestor or a tribal deity? Do we have clan, tribal, national and racial deities? What are they busy with on a daily basis? Mdali, the Creator,(we were taught by our wise Elders, that the Being is Unknown and Unknowable): does this Entity interact with the ancestors and deities? What if you know who your ancestors are but you were outcasted as a child? For example: you have books from your bloodline dating 300 years back but your parents didnโt plan your birth and gave you in an orphanage facility. Is it safe and worth to work with them?
