@love2hvac: Can we force ice to melt with dry nitrogen? Do not try this at home! We took a small vacuum chamber and converted it to a redneck pressure chamber to test this. 1 we pre chilled everything. 2 pulled a slight vacuum to remove some of the air 3 added nitrogen to o psi then to 25 psi then to 59 PSI and let it hold for 5-6 minutes, then tried adding more pressure before the chamber blew.
