I still have cards from my mum, I had her 'love from mum' in her handwriting copied from a photo I took of it and had it engraved onto a keyring each for me, my sister and brothers 🥰

Sending you love and hugs,it’s the sentimental things like letters,pictures,& cards that have the most value.We don’t always appreciate it at the time but when they leave us those are the real treasures. 💕 I lost my parents a week apart and then 4 years later my husband passed away. Grief is love,thank you for sharing this with us. 💕

I'm the same, love having cards from my hubby,kids & now grandson, they have more meanings & are sentimental, I've kept all the cards from them,over 30 years worth & when we have a good spring clean & I see them,we can't help but go through them, the kids look back at the mother's day cards they done at school, some with photos, they always say the same thing 'eww I look gross/ugly' 😁😁which they're not,it's good to look back with fond memories & smile & it'll mean more to you because obviously she's not here anymore, it's hard at first but you will smile in time, the firsts of things will be difficult, it's still quite raw for you, so coming across something like this is a shock to the system & it brings up all the horrible memories of her passing 💜💙. x
