If I was able to live at home until 19 or 20 I would've been able to do this. I had saved up 10k from 16-18 with my after school job. Unfortunately my home wasnt safe so I moved out the second I turned 18 while I was still in high school and had to burn through my savings because I couldnt work enough hours while going to school. Im 22 now and back on my feet, in a successful career looking at buying a house next year probably. My husband and I worked hard and sacrificed a lot, plus we have a 2 year old. But im about to graduate with my bachelor's and im going for my masters next. Some people can be successful young without their parents
