you should do it where you only get 45 seconds for each turn amd any miss triggers are just gone. it was a super fun game we did but very stressful.

I’ve never had a clock, just the group giving you dirty looks if you take too long. You’ve got probably 1 more card than last turn, figure it out.

I have a friend who will play a card that triggers searching their library for a card. he'll stop at almost every card and have a full conversation with himself how -that- specific card would be a better choice before going through his whole deck, repeating this process before pulling a basic land or somethn

I had this idea, but allow extra time with a punishment for overage. like 1 life per 30 seconds, something like that.

on the one hand, i know for certain I am the fastest player in my pod, on the other hand, the anxiety would probably cause me to drop my whole deck after shuffling for a fetch 🤣🤣

My friends and I did this and it honestly makes for quicker games when you stop doing it. You learn not to waste actions and you start to think quicker. Sometimes we pull the clocks back out just for fun.

I played the Tarkir Sultai precon the other day and one of my turns ended up nearly ten minutes. The recursions and triggers just kept repeating 😭

Every group has that one person who does the exact same thing every game, but somehow takes 45 minutes to combo you. If being timed stresses you out, YOU are the player who needs to be timed. 😂

I only know how to play fast turns. I'm not good at the game and you can rest assured I will miss half of my triggers because I think everyone annoyed at how long I'm taking. so my turns are never more than 45 seconds
