People who say that should read Batman: The Knight. He literally says petty thievery is at the very bottom of the list of his targets. He learns that HE has to be a criminal in order to bring justice in a world where systems are corrupt and lopsided. He is even taught skills and wisdom by CRIMINALS. Piracy isn’t usually done just because, but because of accessibility issues! I want to read monthly too! Then I buy hardcover volumes after!!

Batman is literally anti-corruption. like that’s an integral part of his character (from what i’ve gathered). all billion dollar companies are corrupt. he would NOT care. if anything, he’d be upset abt the PRICES of comics
