@maersk_official: When you hear the name Maersk Mango, you might expect a recipe for a tropical cocktail🍹 And not the name of one of our historic feeder vessels.   Built in Japan and entering service in 1978, Maersk Mango had a capacity for up to 422 TEU, connecting Bangkok and Singapore.   By 1986, her fruity name was swapped for Maersk Claudine and the vessel headed west, joining the feeder service between West Africa and Algeciras in Spain.   At the time, many West African ports lacked container‑handling infrastructure. The only Maersk ship that is kinda special to me is the former feeder vessel MV Maersk Davao. Saw her way back in 1998 in Davao port, Philippines. Maersk Davao is now a craneless large container vessel
