Hell, in the 80's and early 90's, everyone cruised up and down the main strip. Chinese fire drills at stop lights. People revving, mini trucks with the beds full of speakers.

I’m a local I get both sides yall don’t know when pigeon forge has these huge meets people act like straight fools and rip up and down the main strip all hours of night and cops HAVE TO BE STRICT or they will get out of hand but I get how just reving your car and being pulled over feels excessive TLDR if you go to PF TN drive like you are a grandma till you hit the backroads
