@ocean.echoes_: Day in the life of a marine biology student 🐡 In NSW it is now illegal to keep dolphins in captivity. These are the last three remaining ones. However, they cannot be released back into the wild, so the sanctuary must continue to care for them. They are very well looked after and kept for educational purposes, allowing students like us to learn about their anatomy, behaviour, and overall biology through direct observation. #marinebiology #ocean #fyp
