The rumours are actually true this new Hermès flagship is set to be one of the biggest in Europe, with a full lifestyle concept. As for Selfridges, they never had strong allocation anyway especially for bags so this isn’t really a loss for Hermès, more for them. Everything is handled through New Bond Street regardless.

They closed Selfridges location only because Hermes requested bigger space on ground floor and Selfridges rejected

But why keeping one in Harrods tho it’s not right. They should close down their Harrods one specially where buyers can collect points buying Hermes in Harrods while other can no longer collect points in selfridges.. I hate Harrods
