Bro Lol. Sometimes we tell ourselves we don’t feel anything anymore. We say we’re numb, that we don’t care, that love isn’t for us. But psychologically, that’s rarely the truth. Wen the heart has been hurt deeply, we tell our mind to step in to create distance. we say narratives like “I don’t need anyone” or “love is overrated, blah blah blah” not because that is true, but because they make the pain easier to carry. Those thoughts are coping mechanisms, quiet defenses trying to shield something that is still very alive underneath. Bcos the truth is, love isn’t something we can switch off. It’s intrinsic to our human nature. It’s wired into us. Even in the moments we pull away, even when we act detached, there’s still a part of us that longs, that feels, that cares. For example when I noticed am getting attached to someone,I'll just ghost her or fallback abit. Humans cant stop loving, it's impossible.
