I'll tell you that after being 3 years post op almost 4 on T the feeling of happiness for it all has dwindled so much . The joy of finally being "free " is slowing burning out a bit . I finally got what I was dying for a decade to experience but depression never leaves a person , time only pronglongs it . Got top surgery a year ago and surgery is surgery. It’s hard, scary. You’ll need help sometimes. It’s also one of the most rewarding things I’ve done for myself. Just some perspective

I don't know you, but I think you need to hear this, You’re valid for feeling this way. These thoughts can stick with you for a long time, especially when you grow up feeling different from everyone else, like you don’t quite fit where society expects you to. not being born the way you wish you were doesn’t make you any less real. It doesn’t make you any less of a man. It just means your path is different, and yeah, sometimes that path is unfairly hard. But honestly? What is more manly than a self made man? Being scared of surgeries is completely okay. That doesn’t make you weak or “less trans.” You don’t have to rush anything or prove anything to anyone, this is ur path. You’re allowed to take your time, and you’re allowed to exist exactly where you are right now. you’re still valid, still worthy and still a guy! Stay strong, you can do this.
