Still Nooo tella, when its Nut ella, as its made with nuts. I take it that you dont watch the Simpsons, if Banoffee pie is new to you. I thought it was more popular in the US than hear. Warmth always oit the flavour.

I made one from scratch once, back in the nineties. After about three hours of pouring tons of sugar, sugar, and for variety, some sugar, into condensed milk (basically sugar), and adding all the other ingredients into the mix, I ended up with an innocent-looking banoffee pie, smaller than that one you’re eating, but with an energy density good enough to power a warp engine. The experience was so terrifying that I never made it again. I’m also still full.

When I was at University, one of the cooks in the cafeteria made an absolutely amazing Banoffe pie. It was to die for. Nutella doesn't belong anywhere near a Banoffe pie.

banoffee pie, cold, is the traditional version. usually a digestive biscuit base, toffee sauce, bananas and whipped cream. but the one you had at the Thai restaurant sounds so good!
