Its a lifelong battle as a messy girl at heart 😫😂 but in all seriousness this is something ive been really focused on. And this isnt to shame anyone who struggles to keep their house clean. Bc 1, same. But 2, everyone had their own sh*t going on. From mental health struggles to trying to balance the overwhelmingness of life i get it. All we can do is our best. One of my favorite tips i got from someone was to set a timer after the kids go to bed for however mant minutes you can. 5 or 10 and just focus on doing as much as you can undistracted in those minutes and youll be suprised how much it can help. Even if all you can do is pick up the things off the floor or clear countertops. Im also not saying everything needs to be perfectly clean all the time. I can and do 100% prioritize being present with my kids over having a spotless house (which ill probably never have anyways with 2 kids 2 adults 3 cats 😅). But i also do want my kids to remember their house growing up as a clean, comfortable, and safe place.
