![So I checked out UG Tea (Unique Green). They’re opening on May 30th at Richmond center. They’re a fairly new concept as of 2024 and are owned by Taiwan’s popular beverage group, Sharetea. I got to try some of their drinks before their grand opening on May 30th and I’ve gotta say, the drinks are solid. I got to try: - Orange Jasmine Fruit Tea (with Honey Boba) - Cloud Matcha Latte I’m personally into Fruit Teas and this Orange Jasmine Fruit Tea was awesome. The Honey Boba is a topping I’ve never had before. In contrast to the regular pearls / boba, these have a chew similar to mochi and are fairly sweet but not the same kind of sweetness as brown sugar. It’s unique and I personally like it! The Cloud Matcha Latte was standard, and I enjoyed that as well but I’d definitely come back for the other fruit tea selections. Apparently, these guys use AI technology to brew cups of tea in 7 seconds which is wild to me. Honestly, I’m a fan and will definitely return.
