The beignets are the only reason I go and the second restaurant is a speak easy called Roka Hula. The food there is better. Especially the fried rice.

Good vibes and ambience, food is mid, prices are at tourist trap level, and the location is awful for traffic. Would not recommend personally, the speakeasy inside is worth checking out though.

The gumbo was the best and the closet to Louisiana style gumbo. The jambalaya was okay too but not giving Louisiana neither was the etoufee👎🏾
