@salsabilaaart: in 1963, Félicette, a stray Parisian cat became the first and only cat that sent into space. Scientists gave her a numerical code instead of a name to avoid emotional attachment and maintain scientific objectivity. She was called C 341. She went through difficult training and was chosen for her calm behaviour. After her return from outer space, she was named Félicette.
