We needed someone to stand in the gap for our sins, and that someone was Jesus. Here is what your next steps are: 1. Understand your need for a savior, repent of your sin and ask Jesus to be the Lord of your life. The Bible says if you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, you will be saved! 2. Get a Bible and start reading the book of Matthew (the beginning of the New Testament, last quarter of the book), then read all the way through until the end. 3. Get in a Bible believing church. There are many false religions out there, do not be deceived, Jesus is the only way! I would personally recommend non-denominational, Calvary chapel, or Baptist churches for solid Bible teaching.
