He remembered what happened before his death. If the demon refused to be with him, he would die. Raiden had been in the lab since he was 5 years old. He was subjected to various experiments, which resulted in his alternate personality, Nill, manifesting faster and much more powerfully. When he was 15/16, an incident occurred: he gave control to Nill and escaped the lab. Everyone who got in his way no longer breathed. (He wore a collar to prevent him from using his abilities, a mask to prevent him from talking to the scientists, as he easily charmed them, and Nill bit them.
