![Bradley Nowell passed away 30 years ago today. Two months later, his band @Sublime’s major label debut was released. That self-titled album fused ska, punk, reggae, and hip-hop, and it spawned hits — “What I Got,” “Santeria,” “Wrong Way,” “Doin’ Time” — that drastically altered both the Long Beach band’s legacy and the course of alt-rock radio history.
