Im not joking when I say this. I operate a 4,000 acre corn and soybean farm. I run an autonomous tractor on my farm. Its my design, coded with AI, and I actively use it in production and currently building a 2nd and 3rd unit. It works and it works well. I say this to point out thati built it for $2,500 for all the automation equipment. $200 million is insane.

Was the problem with the e tractor mechanical? Or was it with the autonomous technology? I work on a USDA farm and have been told to replace one of our aging diesel tractors with an e tractor. We operate it old school, manually, with a driver at all times. I’ve been resisting for the last 5 years, saying the technology is too untested and could be an electronics nightmare if anything failed.
