thank you for being respectful my brother especially since you may not have full insight like most people.here is some useful information.
The project was achieved by force during apartheid ,you can tell because it was based on terms of apartheid government ,so it is extremely exploitative hence SA can afford so much water (supplies 60% of national economy) ,lesotho sells the supply for R3B every year ,for comparison Joburgers pay R60B for the same supply, power stations, mines, farms they pay about R200B,so extreme profits for south african municipalities.
The dams are mostly built by SA ,Lesotho does not use the water.
Zama zamas are people who are recruited to mine abandoned mines for certain local syndicates since lesotho is so poor despite the large economic contribution in SA,if a fair deal can be reached it will boost economy and less people will migrate.
South Africa has other options like Xariep Dam on the same river system but lesotho provides massive advantages ,for example SA saves about R15B in electricity and maintenance cost from pumping because lesotho is in the mountains the water just flows in the pipes.

So all of you expect Lesotho to still be using the same deal that was made in 1986?? We are 40 years in and the economy has changed and you want Lesotho to still be using a 1986 treaty without Amending?
