Meanwhile the president is dimanlang makapag salita ng maayos sa mga interview tas kung saan2 pa napapad yon sagot niya tas utol-utol pa. Now, cases of violence, rape, and deaths of innocent people are multiplying. I’m not a Duterte supporter, but we have to admit: back then, there was a sense of security people feared to commit crimes, crime rates went down, and during the pandemic people were not abandoned. Yes, many lives were lost because of the anti-drug campaign and that pain is real for families, but it also saved many others. Today, crimes, corruption and abuses are everywhere, yet our current leaders seem unable to provide real solutions. Pilipinas is rich, pero ang nakukuha lang ng bansa ay greed ng iilan. Corruption has killed our country. Puro salita, walang paninindigan. Where are the flood control projects? What happened to the people who rallied but were shot by the police? Nakalimutan na ba natin ang mga korap ay hindi dinadakip, habang yung mga maliliit na nagkakamali ay agad pinaparusahan? Next time, let’s think carefully before voting. Huwag tayong magpadala sa promises lang. Pilipinas, it’s time to wake up and demand real change.
