I love thrifting but the only way to make this more fair is stop shopping and donating to Goodwill. I never shop at savers or goodwill and I still find great stuff

Also, please remember that Goodwill is a franchise, but every store is owned privately and ran differently. That’s why you see Goodwill stores and then Goodwill bin stores it just depends on how the owner wants to run their particular store and some owners shoes to participate in shop Goodwill and then some owners choose to participate in selling on eBay directly like there’s an eBay account for the northeastern Nebraska South Dakota/ Iowa district stores for Goodwill. They all kind of participate on one site/ eBay site if I last remember correctly I could be wrong, but it just depends on how they want to make moves. I talk with the employees at the Goodwill around here all the time and I’ve made videos at Goodwill on my account. The employees have told me when they find gold in Sterling silver or things that could be expensive. They have to put it in certain shipping containers and send it to the main office. They also told me they are heavily watched and the donation areas with cameras, etc..

Yep they have stuff for thousands of dollars on there all the time. Tons of stuff. Even fake brand name purses. Like the knock off ones. This is why I don’t shop with them or donate things to them

Shop Goodwill has been around for around 10 years. I used to never be so expensive on that website like the most expensive thing you would ever see on there as a car and I think mainly that’s the reason why they even started that website but yes, people donate cars and stuff to Goodwill for big tax breaks if they need to work out things with the IRS but now that website has been completely overrun with jewelry and crazy other things but people don’t know what they have so they just throw it away or donated to Goodwill. That’s not Goodwill’s fault. I see a lot of the same shit at garage sales and estate sales and flea markets. People don’t know what things are worth and half the time they don’t know what they have.
