@matthewwilcockofficial: Waves Cycles 015 I remastered this recently for an exhibition i’m doing as part of the Sonorities Festival in Belfast later this month. Waves influencing string ensemble chords. This one was quite satisfying to play with. Roughly, right side is higher left is lower. Would be wonderful to do this live. I’ve always loved these waves cycles. Really hoping to record some more with the drone eventually. I need to find some good spots for waves in the South East of the UK. Let me know if you know any spots. By placing a playhead in the world it brings hidden patterns and rhythms to life which are then realised and articulated with music. Using our world; human behaviours, patterns, locomotion, rhythms found in nature, animals and insects, to drive rhythms and guide the tonal content of a musical soundscape.
