As someone who has no professional carpentry experience but, I am a dad. You have to point the stud finder on you first and say “there’s a stud.” Hope this helps

you actually used the stud finder wrong, you’re supposed to calibrate it by pointing it at yourself to make sure it’s correctly scanning for studs before putting it on the wall

Great vid! Only thing I’d do BEFORE committing to the height is checking the placement of the tv mount on the tv first to ensure your height when you mount the tv to the wall. Most tv mounting’s points aren’t exactly centered 🙏

I have a question please - can you only add another outlet above an already existing one that’s in a stud? I want to hang my tv on the middle of my wall, but the outlets are either all the way to the left, or all the way to the right of the middle of the wall ):
